The Columbia, SC office of Schnabel is seeking an organized, responsible, personable, experienced, and motivated individual to serve in a Senior Environmental Engineer/Geologist role within our Environmental Services Group.
Responsibilities include providing technical guidance and review, project management and supervision of routine to complex technical projects. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate their ability to attract clients, generate leads, and assist in a steadily growing Environmental Services Group within Schnabel.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Geology or similar program with a minimum of 12 years of demonstrated environmental engineering/geologist experience. The candidate must be a licensed Professional Engineer or Geologist and must be intimately familiar with environmental laws and regulations.
The position requires effective time management, written communication skills, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to efficiently balance multiple concurrent tasks, responsibilities, and commitments. Some travel is likely. Starting salary will be based upon experience and skill level.
